Annex A
This Annex contains standard conditions to be included in all contribution agreements under the departmental Contributions Program of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) Science and Technology Internship Program.
When the Recipient has completed filling out the form, please click print. The Recipient must send all the required application forms by mail to the (NRCan) Project Manager.
The Recipient agrees to:
- provide supervision, training, and direction to the intern to ensure a meaningful work experience;
- assume responsibility for payment of wages and any other approved costs pertaining to the internship;
- acknowledge the financial assistance of the Government of Canada and NRCan;
- provide NRCan with the interns personal information for program reporting purposes (i.e., name, age, gender, academic degree, Employment Equity Designated Group Member, etc.)
- provide the intern with a completed performance evaluation at the end of the internship;
- assist the intern in securing longer term attachment to the Canadian labour market;
- complete a post-internship evaluation for NRCan; and
- secure commitment from the intern to complete a post-internship employment questionnaire. The intern shall be informed, in advance, that Natural Resources Canada may use his/her work experience comments and/or provide them to Human Resources and Skills Development Canada for promotional and/or publication purposes. The intern has the right to indicate in the questionnaire, his/her refusal for reproduction of any comments.
Financial conditions:
- The maximum contribution per internship from the Science and Technology Internship Program fund will be $13,200 over a maximum of 52 weeks.
- The Recipient agrees to match Science and Technology Internship Program funding with at least an equal amount in salary.
