Any of the following non-federal government organizations whose work is related to natural resource sciences can be a partner:

Your Obligations

Ensure the proposed project meets the objectives and criteria of the program
Recruit, hire, and match youth to projects
Match Science and Technology Internship Program funding with at least an equal amount in salary
Provide supervision, training, and direction to ensure a meaningful work experience
Assume responsibility for payment of wages and any other approved costs
Provide the intern with a completed performance evaluation and NRCan with a project evaluation at the end of the internship
Assist the intern in securing longer term attachment to the Canadian labour market
Secure commitment from the intern to participate in a Post-Internship Questionnaire
Acknowledge the financial assistance of the federal government and NRCan
Comply with all the Terms and Conditions of your Contribution agreement
Comply with the Personal Information and Protection of Electronic Documents Act
Co-operate if audited and/or asked to participate in a program-wide evaluation
