• Ongoing collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the areas of remote sensing (Earth observation data/applications) and natural hazards
• Collaboration on unconventional gas resources assessments including field surveys and the development of analytical protocols
• Collaboration on landslide studies involving the use of fibre optic monitoring technology
