CURRENT S&T / RESEARCH
- Enhancing Resilience in a Changing Climate Program working mainly in the “Earth Science for National Scale Characterization of Climate Change Impacts on Canada's Landmass”, part of the "State and Evolution of Canada's Glaciers" initiative, leading change detection effort for the Columbia Icefield using geodetic and flow and form methods to estimate ice field mass budget;
- Remote Sensing Science Program working mainly in the cryospheric research (glaciers and permafrost) leading digital elevation model generation efforts for change detection in the Nahanni National Park Reserve;
- Groundwater Program working mainly in the "Remote sensing in support of groundwater monitoring and vulnerability assessment" project with the activities involved field research including in-situ data (climate, LAI and landcover) measurement and collection, and hydrological modeling over the Oak Ridges Moraine and Châteauguay regions;
- In-Situ Sensor Measurement and Assimilation Program leading the in-situ field research, developing and deploying sensorwebs for soil moisture and other land applications.
