Boundaries - National Park Boundaries

The Surveyor General under the Canada Lands Surveys Act has the legislative authority for regulating the surveys of National Park boundaries and for surveying boundaries of new National Parks. In addition to these roles, the SGB has often engaged in other survey related tasks in the National Parks when requested.  These have included: orthophoto mapping, advising on land registration issues, creating products to manage restricted use areas (zoning), maintaining coordinate control survey areas, and providing boundary opinions.
