Teamwork
The UNCLOS program is led by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, with the surveying component jointly managed by Natural Resources Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Canadian scientists have conducted research both independently and collaboratively in the Arctic under challenging conditions. The Extended Continental Shelf (ECS) program is an example of how cooperation across disciplines, sectors and countries can advance scientific research.
