Geodetic Network Products
The following products are available from the Canadian Spatial Reference System (CSRS) database. Registration for the CSRS database is free.
- RINEX Observation Files for Post-Processing - Canadian continuously operating reference stations (Canadian Active Control Points - ACP).
- Precise Ephemeris Files - Precise GPS satellite ephemeris files generated from Canadian and International reference stations. NRCan uses (ULTRA RAPID) Precise Ephemerides to produce the GPS real-time corrections used in the CDGPS service.
- High Precision 3D Geodetic Networks - Monuments with NAD83CSRS coordinates from Global Positioning System (GPS) observations.
- Gravity Reference Stations - Canadian Gravitational Standardization Network g-values and descriptions.
- Vertical Benchmarks - CGVD28 orthometric elevations and descriptions.
- 2D Northern Horizontal Network - Northern monuments with NAD83(Original) coordinates from terrestrial observations.
Downloadable software - Download standalone PC versions of programs GPS-H (for transformation of ellipsoidal heights to mean-sea-level heights) and NTv2 (for transformation between NAD27 and NAD83) as well as the PPP Direct PC desktop utility
