RINEX Observation Files for Post-Processing
Across Canada, continuously-operating GPS reference stations (also called active control points or ACP) collect GPS data for use in the computation of national and global precise orbit products.

The raw data is made available, at no cost, to GPS users who can use these reference stations as base stations for Phase Differential Baseline Post-Processing.
The raw data is available in RINEX format, in 24 hr datasets and at a 30-sec rate. Station coordinates are published in NAD83(CSRS), Canada's official 3D reference frame.
You can download raw data from federal GPS reference stations and view their graphic locations using Google Earth (KMZ) via the CSRS Online Database (station coordinates in accompanying data sheet).
Note: Canada is vast and in some areas the nearest federal active control point may be as much as 700 km away. Check with your provincial survey agency for nearby provincial active control points.
