Field Equipment Requests
Through its Technical Field Support Services (TFSS) unit, PCSP provide field equipment to researchers from governmental, non-governmental and foreign organizations conducting scientific field work in the Canadian Arctic. It also provides equipment services to Natural Resources Canada’s field projects across Canada.
Request for equipment are supported through a web-enabled application, the Electronic Field Equipment Listing (E-FEL). The purpose of E-FEL is to assist account holders in preparing and submitting demands for field equipment online. Clients have the option to prepare a new order, browse the catalogue or view a previous order. The catalogue can be searched by category, description, keyword or previous orders. Each product is hyper-linked to a web page, where you can view a summary and picture, any special instructions and health & safety requirements.
