Programming Fees for Remote Sensing Products


European Space Agency Programming Fees

European Remote Sensing (ERS) and Envisat remote sensing products ordered through the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing are subject to programming fees set by the European Space Agency (ESA).

(1) ERS-1/2 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Products
ESA Programming Price
First 60 seconds of data (minimum fee) €60 ($85.00 Est.)
Extra 15 seconds contiguous to the first 60 seconds €10 ($15.00 Est.)

(2) Envisat Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR) Products
(i) Normal programming *more than 14 days prior to data acquisition*
ESA Programming Price
First 60 seconds of data (minimum fee) €100 ($143.00 Est.)
Extra 15 seconds contiguous to the first 60 seconds €20 ($34.00 Est.)

(ii) Rush programming *between 14 and 7 days prior to acquisition*
ESA Programming Price
For each successfully planned path segment €50 ($72.00 Est.)

(iii) Rush programming *between 7 and 2 working days prior to acquisition, excluding weekends and statutory holidays*
ESA Programming Price
For each successfully planned path segment €500 ($715.00 Est.)
