Geochemical Surveys
Natural Resources Canada through the Geological Survey of Canada carried out a significant number of geochemical surveys across Canada since the 1950s. Currently NRCan’s catalogue of surveys data contains over 800 entries, including the majority of surveys carried out by the Geological Survey of Canada and a significant number of surveys carried out by Provincial and Territorial agencies.
The catalogue contains a basic description of each survey, with links to related publications and online resources. In addition, raw geochemical data are available for over 65 surveys, in a standardised format, as both KML files and Excel spreadsheets.
