Buy ENERGY STAR® to save you money!
An ENERGY STAR certified coin-operated or pay-for-use washing machine uses 25% less energy, on average, than a standard model and 45% less water. These types of washing machines are most commonly used in laundromats, apartment buildings and buildings with multiple units. Saving energy saves money and reduces your carbon footprint.
- Internet connectivity, which allows your pay-for-use washing machine to send automatic alarms to users, letting them know when a washer is free or when to move clothes from the washer to the dryer (this feature available on some models).
- More capacity than conventional washing machines, which makes them gentler on clothes. This also allows users to wash big, bulky items.
