Each year, ENERGY STAR sets or reviews Most Efficient criteria for specific product categories.

For manufacturers

Manufacturers who have products that meet the Most Efficient recognition criteria can apply for designation with the appropriate certification. Look below by product to see the recognition criteria for this calendar year and, when available, the coming year.

ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2016

Canada is an international partner in the U.S. ENERGY STAR program. The ENERGY STAR name and symbol are administered and promoted in Canada by Natural Resources Canada and are registered in Canada by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
