Registration and publication of Regulations Amending Canada’s Energy Efficiency Regulations

An amendment to the Energy Efficiency Regulations was registered and came into force on December 31, 2013. It was published in the Canada Gazette, Part II, or PDF SOR/2013-260 [PDF - 1.5 MB] page 201 on Wednesday January 15, 2014.

Amendment 12B revises Canada’s minimum energy performance standards for general service incandescent lamps (light bulbs); the standards are aligned with the United States.
