Regulatory Definition

A household freezer that has a capacity of not more than 850 litres (30 cubic feet).

Energy Efficiency Report Requirements

  • product name;
  • brand name;
  • model number;
  • manufacturer;
  • the name of the certification body or province whose verification mark will be on the product or its package;
  • annual energy consumption in kWh;
  • type of freezer;
  • total refrigerated volume;
  • adjusted volume; and
  • ice freezing capacity in kilograms per 24 hours.
