The Energy Innovation Program : Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Demonstrations

The Call for Proposals under the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Demonstration Component of EIP is now closed following the submission deadline of 23:59 EDT, November 14, 2016.

Proposal selection will be completed by an Expert Panel by early winter 2016. Applicants will be informed of their status once the selection process has been completed.

Objectives:

The Energy Innovation Program has received $46.1 million in funding over 2 years through Budget 2016, to support the demonstration of next-generation electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Canada.

The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Demonstration component will undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies and demonstrations to reduce the costs, understand the impacts and address potential hurdles for the deployment of next-generation charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
