Description

The library supports research activities at the Centre and the CFS Science and Technology Networks. Subjects include forest fire research and fire management, impact of changing climatic conditions on forest ecosystems, fire regimes and pest infestations in Canada, socio-economic forestry research, forest insect pests and diseases research, forest ecosystems processes, forest health, forest biodiversity, forest landscape management, tree biotechnology and advanced genetics, and effects of forestry practices. A noteworthy collection is the Woodlot Extension Library which provides woodlot management information.
