The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will take the opportunity of National Forest Week to discuss the importance of Canada’s forest industry and highlight important new examples of how our government is helping this industry to create jobs, innovate and increase energy efficiency.

Minister Oliver will also announce an investment to support Lauzon Distinctive Hardwood Flooring in modernizing its operations.

Minister Oliver will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
