Minister Ashfield and Premier Alward respond to announcement relating to transportation of Canadian oil from West to East

SAINT JOHN — The Honourable Keith Ashfield, Regional Minister for New Brunswick, and the Honourable David Alward, Premier of New Brunswick, accompanied by Saint John Member of Parliament Rodney Weston will respond to this morning’s announcement by the TransCanada Corporation (TransCanada) that sufficient market support exists to proceed to a binding open season to transport crude oil from Western Canada to Eastern Canadian markets.
