Minister Oliver Visits Israel to Promote Collaboration and Investment in Canada’s Energy Sector

OTTAWA — Today the Honourable Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources, will travel to Israel to meet with senior Israeli government officials and energy industry executives and discuss the potential for trade and investment between the two countries. He will reinforce Canada’s role as a secure energy supplier and promote Canada’s commitment to energy diversification and to modernizing major resource project approvals.

While in Israel, the Minister will hold a call-back for media to highlight the outcome of his meetings and discussions. A media advisory with call-back details will be issued early next week.
