Biographical Notes

Alison Scott

Alison Scott served as Deputy Minister for the Department of Energy and Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs in Nova Scotia between 2002 and 2009. More recently, she served as Special Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Finance in Nova Scotia, as well as a Special Advisor to the Deputy Minster of Environment Canada. Ms. Scott was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1980 and is a former solicitor and litigator with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. Ms. Scott holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Dalhousie Law School.
