Philip H. Davies — Biographical Notes

Mr. Davies has enjoyed long-term success as a member of several senior management teams – notably as Vice-President Law and General Counsel of SaskPower, Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Encana Gas Storage, and Associate General Counsel of Encana Midstream and Marketing.

Mr. Davies earned an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management. He completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Western Ontario, Ivey School of Business and is a graduate of the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law. He is a member of the Law Societies of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

He is currently a member of the Municipal Directions Committee and the Environmental Committee of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. In the past, he served as member of the National Executive of the Canadian Bar Association, Environment, Energy and Resources Law Section, president and director of the Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation, president and director of the Association of General Counsel of Alberta, and member of the Law Committee of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
