Scott Tessier is a respected leader with extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Over the course of his career, he has developed strong relationships with federal, provincial and territorial governments, non-government organizations and industry.
Over the past 15 years, Mr. Tessier has held senior advisory positions in several federal departments that provide regulatory oversight, such as Fisheries and Oceans Canada and Health Canada. In addition, he has been the Chief of Staff for the Minister of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency. Previously, he was a Coordinator of Programs for the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment. Mr. Tessier is currently the Senior Advisor of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at Chevron Canada Resources in Calgary, Alberta.
Scott Tessier was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Memorial University.
Edward Williams has extensive experience in human resources and labour issues management in the natural resource sectors. He has been involved in all phases of activity in Newfoundland and Labrador’s natural resources, including exploration, project development and operations.
After working as a Human Resources and Administration Manager at Hibernia in 1997, Mr. Williams became a Human Resources Manager for the Terra Nova Project.Following this, he managed human resource policies, procedures and labour relations issues for the White Rose Project.
More recently, Mr. Williams was the Business Development Manager of Kruger Inc. He is currently Director of Human Resources at Aurora Energy Resources Inc.
Mr. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in business from Memorial University.
