Storage of Display Fireworks

Less than 125 kg gross of Display Fireworks (Class 7.2.2.) for less than 14 days may store in a warehouse, garage or similar building which must be detached from any dwelling and situated at a safe distance from public places and thoroughfares and kept locked. The storage unit must be:

• constructed in such a way as to protect the contents from weather;
• kept clean, dry, organized, and free of grit; and
• used exclusively for fireworks storage.

Storage quantities in excess of 125 kg or a lesser quantity for longer than 14 days requires a Magazine License issued by ERD.
