Explosives Transportation Permits (Explosives Vehicle Certificates)

With the publication of Amendment No. 6 to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, Transport Canada will no longer issue Explosives Transportation Permits. Natural Resources Canada will now issue these permits, which are required by the current Explosives Regulations.

As the permits no longer serve the function for which they were created, it is NRCan’s intention to remove the requirement for them from the regulations. In the meantime, permits will be issued by the Explosives Regulatory Division of NRCan.
