Display Fireworks (Class 7.2.2)

Display Fireworks are high-hazard pyrotechnic articles designed for use by professionals. These articles include items such as aerial shells, cakes, Roman candles, waterfalls, lances and wheels.

According to the Explosives Regulations, only authorized fireworks may be imported into, and transported, stored, sold and used in Canada. If tampered with or misused, fireworks can result in injury, property damage or even death. As a result, display fireworks retailers and users must understand the roles and responsibilities involved in ensuring the safe and secure use of display fireworks.
