Other Automotive Materials and Systems

This activity area groups projects that require materials developments in other automotive systems such as exterior, interior, closure, and roof systems where many factors are incorporated into material selection. Projects that are focussed on process developments that tie into the overall re-capitalization of the laboratory and specific alloy development projects on thermomechanical processing of steel using the new multi-stand rolling mill will fall under this activity area.
