DESCRIPTION
Three petroleum cokes have been characterized for four parameters based on ASTM D2 Petroleum Products standard test methods. These include: moisture, ash content, sulphur and calorific value.

These reference materials were produced by the Energy Research Laboratories (ERL) of CANMET under the auspices of an industrial quality assurance, interlaboratory sample exchange program entitled: CANSPECS – PC: CANMET’s Service Program for the Evaluation of Codes and Standards for Petroleum Cokes.
