Averaged field spectra for three different plant varieties

This figure is intended to show the reflectance profile of three varieties of plants (arctic willow, green moss and sedge) in the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum ranging from 440 nanometers to 2240 nanometers, with gaps between 1300 and 1400 nanometers, and between 1800 and 2000 nanometers. The figure shows that the three main varieties of plants have low reflectance in the 440 to 640 nanometer range and then it increases in the 840 to 1300 nanometer range. It should be noted that the difference between the low reflectance range of 440 to 640 nanometers, and the high reflectance range of 840 to 1300 nanometers, are greater for the arctic willow and lowest for sedge.
