The Adaptation Platform brings together key groups from governments (Federal departments, including, NRCan, AAND, TC, EC, and others; Provincial / Territorial governments; as well as, Regional Adaptation Collaboratives), national industry associations (including, energy, mining and forestry) and professional organizations (including regulatory bodies, financial services, engineers, and planners), to collaborate on adaptation priorities.

This catalyzes: engagement, discussions, improving communication, experience sharing, collaboration, knowledge generation, inspiration and innovation.

The result is five outputs: targeted sector assessments; tailored decision-support tools; synthesis products: best practices, guidelines; approaches to measure adaptation progress; and, economic analyses.

These outputs collectively lead to an outcome of common understanding of issues, barriers, and solutions. In addition, increased awareness, capacity, competitiveness and action.

In turn, these outcomes feed back into the adaptation platform.
