2008 flooding scenario map for Annapolis Royal (1:2000 land-related information system) showing potential areas at risk from storm-surge flooding in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Mapping uses 2 metre contours, delineated as 4 metre and 6 metre level. 4 metre level scenarios comprise North-East portion of the peninsula, as well as both sides of Allain's Creek, all predominantly East of Highway #1. 6 metre level scenarios cover a thin band on both sides of the North-West and West shores, including the Granville Ferry, as well as 2 bands running West to East, including through the School area. The mean high water is 3.6 metres. The direction of tidal-surge flow is from West to East across the peninsula and along the plain North of Allain's Creek, as well as North-West towards the Granville Ferry.
