Have you ever wondered how many buildings are benchmarking with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager?
In 2013, the arrival of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager in Canada offered Canadians a valuable source of data on the commercial and institutional buildings sector. For the first time, NRCan will be making this data publically available through our new series of Energy Benchmarking Data Snapshots. The series will provide Canadians with information on buildings registered in Portfolio Manager. The series will include information specific to a selection of building types, as well as a document covering the Canadian buildings sector overall such as benchmarking by building type; benchmarking by province, territory and city; and much more!
These snapshots will be a valuable source of information for policy development, reference, research and planning, and more.
The Energy Benchmarking Data Snapshots provide insight on the following areas:
- Buildings registered in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
- Benchmarking by province and territory
- Benchmarking by city
- Energy use distribution
- Distribution of buildings
- Energy use profiles
This document will specifically provide insight on data entered into the tool about buildings in Canada. Download your copy today of Energy Benchmarking Data Snapshots for Canadian Buildings [PDF - 884 KB] to find out more!
