Survey on the Design of Radiant Systems for Commercial Buildings in Canada

Survey on the Design of Radiant Systems for Commercial Buildings in Canada

PDF 1.38 MB

Description

The design of radiant systems in commercial buildings is a preferred option for energy efficiency and comfort reasons, particularly for buildings designed for net zero energy consumption [Solution Sets for Net Zero Energy Buildings Ernst & Sohn 2017]. However, the design of those systems raises many questions. The survey results reveal consensuses established during system design and differences in designers’ choices. By discussing these response gaps, the survey is another tool to guide research effectively and to develop guidelines for the design of radiant systems in Canada.
