Natural Resources Canada pilot tested the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient designation in 2012 and made the program a standard offering in Canada in 2013.

- ENERGY STAR Most Efficient identifies the newest and best energy performers on the market today. It eliminates the need to compare products’ energy efficiency ratings. Make it your customers’ first choice.
- Customers that choose ENERGY STAR Most Efficient will lower their energy bills, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and encourage manufacturers to innovate even more.
- ENERGY STAR updates the list of Most Efficient products every year.
