Did you know that there are more than 100 kinds of energy efficient residential and commercial products in Canada that are regulated and/or are ENERGY STAR® certified?

Making the switch to energy efficient products, and particularly ENERGY STAR certified products, will reduce your energy use, lower your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.

On each of our product profile pages, you’ll find helpful information, such as:

  • Key product features
  • Tips to further reduce your energy consumption (for even more tips, follow us on Twitter and Facebook!)
  • Information on whether the product has an EnerGuide label or is subject to Government of Canada Energy Efficiency Regulations
  • Direct links to search and compare regulated and ENERGY STAR certified product models.

Manufacturers/importers: who manufacture energy-using products in Canada, trade these products between provinces and territories, or import them into Canada.

Retailers: Retailers or dealers of energy-using products can help Canadians make energy-efficient choices. More information for retailers/dealers.

The ENERGY STAR name and symbol are trademarks registered in Canada by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and are administered and promoted by Natural Resources Canada.
