CanmetENERGY involved in the organization of a workshop related to the efficient use of gas turbines in industrial applications.
CanmetENERGY and the National Research Council of Canada are supporting the Industrial Application of Gas Turbine Committee (IAGT) in the delivery of a two-day workshop related to the efficient use of gas turbines in industrial applications.
The Industrial Application of Gas Turbines (IAGT) Committee, formed in 1973 with the support of the National Research Council of Canada, is a Technical Advisory Group to Canadian industry and government. The group is also supported by the Canadian Gas Association, providing a forum for communication of new technology developments related to the industrial application of gas turbines for pipeline compressors, combined cycle power, or various cogeneration and district energy systems.
The workshop will cover the basics of gas turbines and cogeneration systems, the most recent technological developments, the integration of gas turbines with renewable energy and technologies as well as the optimal integration within industrial processes.
