Regulatory definition

Freezer, a household freezer that has a capacity of 850 L (30 cubic feet) or less.

Energy efficiency report requirements

  • name of product
  • brand name
  • model number
  • manufacturer
  • the name of the certification body or province whose verification mark will be on the product or its package
  • whether a mathematical model as defined in the Regulations was used to generate any of the information provided below
  • annual energy consumption in kWh
  • type of freezer
  • total refrigerated volume
  • adjusted volume
  • ice freezing capacity in kilograms per 24 hours
