EOI applications will be evaluated and successful applicants will be invited to submit a Full Project Proposal for evaluation. Following the completion of the EOI review, a shortlist of successful Projects, along with non-confidential Project descriptions, will be made public for the purposes of encouraging collaboration across organizations. The anticipated submission deadline for Full Project Proposals is summer 2019 with funding decision notifications anticipated in fall 2019.

Alberta Innovates and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) are investing in building technology-testing capacity through a collaborative Canadian Emissions Reduction Innovation Network (CERIN) program. The program will support targeted infrastructure investments at existing facilities or sites within Canada and the creation of consortia capable of connecting national expertise and facilities to an integrated network.

CERIN aims to accelerate the development, validation and deployment of technologies that reduce oil and gas sector emissions. It will help position Canada as a leader in developing exportable emissions management solutions and achieving cost-effective emissions reduction and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking proposals from companies and organizations across Canada to support this initiative.
