Service Standards for Licences and Certificates for Manufacturing

Service standards publicly state the level of performance that citizens can reasonably expect to encounter from the Explosives Regulatory Division under normal circumstances.
The following is a list of categories for our service standards for high-volume regulatory authorizations in licences and certificates for manufacturing:

Factory Licenses

Service standard:

Initial licence – Decisions are made within 60 days of receipt of an application

Renewal – Decisions are made prior to expiry of a current licence, assuming the licence holder has applied at least 30 days prior to expiry of a current licence.

Performance target:

The target for achieving this standard is set at 95% under normal circumstances.

Manufacturing Certificates

Service standard:
