Renewing your Fireworks Operator Certificate
Once you are certified by the ERD to use display fireworks or special effect pyrotechnics you will receive a letter in the mail at least two months prior to the expiry date on your certificate reminding you of the expiry date and the instructions required to renew.
If you have not received your reminder to renew and your certificate is going to expire or has expired already, you can submit an Application of Renewal of Fireworks Operator Certificate (F17-06).
Upgrading your Fireworks Operator Certificate
To upgrade your Fireworks Operator Certificate to a higher level you must submit an application for upgrade to the ERD.
Make sure your application includes the completed application form, work journal, letters of recommendation, photo and the required fee of $100.00. Incomplete applications will delay processing times.
