TORONTO — The Honourable Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources, will deliver the keynote address at the 8th annual Energy Matters Summit. He will highlight the importance of a balanced energy approach to ensure Canada’s continued economic growth and environmental responsibility.

The event is organized by the Region of Peel in partnership with the Independent Electricity System Operator and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, with the theme “Building Partnerships for a Sustainable Energy Future.”

Minister Oliver will be available for questions from media following his speech.
