SASKATOON — The Honourable Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources, will be joined by Kelly Block, Member of Parliament for Saskatoon–Rosetown–Biggar, for a tour of Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan’s Cory potash mine to see first-hand the importance of natural resource development in Saskatoon.

A tour of the facility is offered to media who come in proper safety attire (must wear closed-toe shoes and no skirts or shorts will be permitted). Personal protection equipment such as hard hats and safety goggles will be provided on site.

Later in the day, Minister Oliver will also address the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce about the Harper Government’s plan for Responsible Resource Development and its benefits to Canadians in Saskatchewan and in every region across the country.
