SAINT JOHN — The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will tour the Irving Oil Refinery. Brief remarks and a photo opportunity will follow. Media must register in advance, as transportation will be provided.
The Minister will then deliver a luncheon address hosted by the Saint John Board of Trade where he will discuss Atlantic Canada’s natural resource potential and highlight the Government’s commitment to jobs, growth and long-term prosperity for all Canadians. A brief media availability will follow the Minister’s remarks.
Media are also invited to accompany the Minister to the Irving Paper Limited for a tour and photo opportunity. (Transportation to the facility will not be provided.)
