WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will hold a brief conference call to discuss today’s motion in the House of Commons relating to the Keystone XL project. Minister Oliver is concluding his official visit to Washington, D.C, where he met with senior government officials and industry stakeholders to highlight the importance of Keystone XL in the context of energy security, jobs and the environment. Minister Oliver met Dr. Ernest Moniz, United States Secretary of Energy, to encourage enhanced cooperation on energy and the environment.
