MONTREAL — The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will visit Suncor Energy’s Montreal refinery to highlight how the Harper Government’s plan for Responsible Resource Development is supporting Canadian workers, protecting the environment, and helping to bring Canadian oil to eastern markets. The Minister will witness first-hand the benefits that Canadian energy is providing for jobs and growth in Quebec.

Minister Oliver will deliver brief remarks at the completion of the tour.

All members of the media are invited to tour the refinery with Minister Oliver and attend the Minister's speech following the tour.
