Results achieved will be reported in ISED’s 2016-17 Departmental Results Report (DRR).

The Fund targets all major economic sectors in Canada and is national in scope.

SDTC typically holds two rounds of funding each year, initially requesting Statements of Interest (SOI) from applicants. The application process takes about nine months to complete after the receipt of the SOI. The Foundation is expected to allocate new funding to projects until at least June 30, 2016.

* The table does not reflect NRCan’s reduced financial resources resulting from the transfer of funds for this initiative to ISED. Until the transfer is complete, NRCan will continue to disburse funds from its reference levels toward both the SDTC’s NextGen Biofuels Fund and the SDTC Tech Fund. These disbursements will remain equally shared between NRCan and ECCC, with each department reporting its shares in its respective RPPs and DRRs.

** NRCan and ECCC each contributes an equal amount. The amounts in the table above represent only NRCan‘s portion of the total transfer payments.
