Description
Canada is a major producer and exporter of natural resources. Being competitive in Canadian and foreign markets is imperative to the nation’s economic growth. The conditions of success are continuously evolving and Canada must adapt to these changes in order to remain competitive. The objective of this Strategic Outcome is to help natural resource sectors become more globally competitive. This objective is achieved by supporting natural resource sectors in meeting the conditions of success: a) market access and diversification, b) the development of new products and processes, and c) investment in the natural resource sectors.
