Project Objectives

Alexandra Tavasoli, founder and former CEO of Solistra, is looking to create a technology that answers a question from her PhD studies, ‘how can we transition the chemical industry into a sustainable operation to use natural resources in an environmentally friendly way?’ Solistra aims to capture CO2 and methane and convert into a clean energy product.

Expected Results

Solistra’s technology can use a number of waste products to produce low-carbon chemicals. Using solar-driven chemical reactors, Solistra’s highly energy-efficient process can recycle CO2 and methane from industry or the atmosphere and convert them into clean energy products.
