Arctic Logistics Hub
The Polar Continental Shelf Program (PCSP) has suspended logistics services for the remainder of the 2020 Arctic field season.
The PCSP facility in Resolute, Nunavut, remains closed until further notice.
A new application will be required for the 2021 field season. The planning and delivery of the operations for the 2021 field season will be conducted in accordance with the public health advisories and travel restrictions in place at that time.

The PCSP’s Arctic logistics hub is located in Resolute on southern Cornwallis Island, Nunavut. The PCSP’s facility is located adjacent to the Resolute airport, approximately seven kilometres from the Hamlet, and operates from February to September each year.
The facility (7,500 m2) can accommodate up to 237 people and includes lounges, offices, meeting rooms, a fitness room and accessible bedrooms. Only clients with PCSP-supported projects and partners of the PCSP are eligible to stay and work at the PCSP Arctic logistics hub. The Dr. Roy M. “Fritz” Koerner Laboratory
The Dr. Roy M. “Fritz” Koerner Laboratory is part of the PCSP Arctic logistics hub and can be used by clients upon request. This modern laboratory, built in 2011, contains a several work spaces that accommodate different types of sample preparation, examination and analysis. It has a walk-in freezer, a walk-in cooler, a -80°C freezer, fume hoods, a compressed air supply and a water purification system.
Access to the laboratory is controlled. Clients must request access on their Arctic logistics request and receive a safety briefing prior to using the laboratory.
