|Description||Funding will be available to Indigenous groups potentially impacted by the Trans Mountain Expansion Pipeline Project (TMX) and the Line 3 Replacement Program (Line 3) to enhance their capacity to participate in the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committees; to pursue other Committee objectives including those supporting their mandate to provide advice to regulators on environmental, safety, and socio-economic issues related to the performance of the projects and compliance with conditions; and to address other environmental concerns related to the broader pipeline corridor over the full lifecycle of development.
The transfer payment program has non-repayable contributions.
|Expected results||To effectively respond to Indigenous issues and priorities related to the TMX and Line 3 pipeline projects through the provision of capacity and other supports that address objectives identified by Indigenous groups involved in the monitoring of these projects.|
